Message: I'm really encouraged by this 24/7. Always it's hard to even start a prayer, but after I had been blessed I've been reading from Jeremiah's first chapter where it describes how he was called to go and tell those people what God has for them. It's the same with us today. God spoke and He keep His promises.
Pray for our country, God needs them to heal this nation.

Message: Kate from NoviMost, Mostar recently sent me scripture from 1 Kings 18:41-46, Kate felt it was an encouragement for the church of BiH. On reflection of this, it's a scripture that calls for persistance. As Elijah prophetically heard the sound of abundant rain, he then stayed/prayed/waited and watched for it. Interestingly, this action follows the defeat of the prophets of Baal, Israel worshiping false gods but then turning back to the one true God. During the recent prayer conference in Mostar, teams visited two sites of false worship; interesting thoughts after reading this chapter.

Message: I am so excited to share with you that the Lord very clearly lead me to form a prayer team from our church to pray for BiH. This was even before we knew that you in Bosnia had decided to make 2008 the year of prayer. Over 200 signed a commitment that God helping them they would pray for BiH everyday for the next 9 months. Some are great prayer warriors and some new in missions prayer. I was very excited to hear about the "coinsidence."

Maybe you remember us from when we were in Bosnia in 2006. Our hearts are forever bonded with you. Perhaps you know that we have adopted BiH as our churches strategic focus. Our Missions pastor will be there in February and I am hoping to bring a small prayer team later in the year.

Message: Over this weekend as we thought about the youth conference we had a growing impression of a grapevine. The new tender, vigorous shoots growing and becoming entangled with each other. The scripture came to mind from John 15v1-17. In the New King James it reads "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser". I like this impression of tender loving care from the vinedresser towards these tender growing shoots BUT the truth that cutting back and pruning is needed to bear more fruit. Hope the young people have had a great weekend and much fruit is produced.

Message: The summer the starimost was opened Les and I travelled in from the coast. As we drove through the corridor at Neum through to Metkovic and into BiH I had the distinct feeling of BiH being in a stranglehold,both spiritually and economically. This has never left me.

When Ian and Jan agreed to come to the prayer conference in Mostar we showed them a map of BiH. Immediately Ian said he saw the country as a balloon shape and commented on the neck of the balloon. I asked him to give more thought to this, and the following are those thoughts. You may need time to take it in...

As soon as I saw the map I saw the 'agreed' boundaries I saw them forming an obvious balloon shape.

BALLOON: - noun meaning: -

• A flexible bag designed to be inflated with hot air or with a gas, such as helium, that is lighter than the surrounding air, causing it to rise and float in the atmosphere. Such a bag with sufficient capacity to lift and transport a suspended gondola or other load.
• A usually round or oblong inflatable rubber bag used as a toy.
• Medicine. A sac that is inserted into a body cavity or tube and distended with air or gas for therapeutic purposes, such as angioplasty.
• Balloons are designed to take in air (with life-giving oxygen), hold in the air until it is either released or the whole thing explodes!
• You control the passage of air via the neck of the balloon, air is blown into the balloon through the neck, holding it tight to restrict or even stop the flow of air into and out of the balloon.
• Balloons are usually used at Parties, Receptions and other times and places of Joy, Rejoicing and Excitement.

I see prophetically: -
The shape of the country is significant.
The balloon shape has been put in place by AGREEMENT of the nation of Bosnia and Hercegovina, but the OUTSIDE PARTIES had the upper hand in the AGREEMENT.
The NECK is the point at which the HEAD can be severed from the BODY.
This is particularly significant in historic methods of execution and strategies in Islamic battle: If not severed, it is also the point at which Bosnia and Hercegovina can be THROTTLED or STRANGLED (Starved of life-giving and sustaining oxygen).
If not severed or throttled, it is at least the point at which the FLOW OF LIFE (oxygen) - IN & OUT - is CONTROLLED
If not severed or throttled, it is at least the point at which the FLOW OF LIFE (food, goods, etc) - IN & OUT - is CONTROLLED
If there is no flow of oxygen, there is stagnation (Meaning of stagnation (noun) the condition of not FLOWING or not CHANGING)
If there is not flow of oxygen, life is not sustainable.

Prophetically - from definition above: -

• FLEXIBLE BAG (from definition above)
• New Wineskins!
• DESIGNED TO BE INFLATED
• Designed to be filled with the Spirit of God
• Lighter than the surrounding atmosphere - so that BiH can RISE ABOVE THE SURROUNDING ATMOSPHERE - EAGLE-LIKE!
• LIFT AND TRANSPORT SUSPENDED GONDOLA
• Transport its people into the Heavenlies;
• Transport 'other loads' ?
• USED AS A TOY - This is the enemies plan; to play with and THROTTLE & CONTROL!
• MEDICINE - Wow! A sac inserted into a CAVITY (VOID) used to bring health and vitality to the church (BODY).

Prayer request: The book by Emmanuel Luther Ratiq, a pakistani journalist, specialist on Islam and brother in Christ "Jesus Contact and Conflict between Christians and Muslims" is seen as a good tool for the aera. Decision for translation and publishing will be taken by a comitee in Osiejek.

Pray that this will become accomplished soon as possible.
